Neighbor

Text Box: Dear Servant, Do you love your neighbor? How much do you love them? Perhaps, I should ask another way. How well do you know your neighbor? Do you know what they like and dislike? Do you know their desires and dreams? Are you familiar with the ins and outs of their life and of the motives that drive them on each day? Do you really know them? You see, loving your neighbor requires an investment on your part. It is not enough to say, “Hi” and “How is the weather?” each week. It is not enough to pray for them on occasion when you think about it or to invite them to church at Easter and Christmas. You have to love them, and loving them means knowing them. Why? Because they will only see that I love them when you, as my ambassador, love them. They will only know you love them when you invest in them and care about them. Do you love your neighbor?
