Naming your sin

Text Box: Dear Servant, You can name your sin whatever you want. You can call it “convenient” but the payment is anything but convenient. You can call it “just a little one” but it is still an affront to me. You can call it “letting off a little steam” but you do more than a little damage when you partake. You can call it “peer pressure”, but you alone will be judged for what you do. You can call it “the way things are these days” but it is still the same old sin. You can call it “the price of getting along” but little do you realize the price for your sin is your soul. You can call it “no one will know” but you and I both know. You can call it any of these names and a hundred more, but I will accept none of them. The only names for your sin I will accept are “forgiven”, paid for by the blood of my son and “forsaken”, walking in my spirit. Naming sin for what it is, I AM
