Burning with Anger Text Box: Dear Servant,
Yes, I have seen how the pagans worship. I have seen the temples and I have seen the empty altars. I have seen their unfilled hearts as they fearfully worship what is not. I have seen how they bow down to things made of wood and stone and pin all their hopes on works of human hands. They think that their so called “gods” will be appeased by a few trinkets and the right words. I weep for the barrenness in their heart and my anger burns when they see my creation but choose to worship anything but me.
My anger also burns at others who worship idols. They attend temples and they bow down to things made of wood and stone and metal. They follow men and worship power and believe that a few good words and a few good deeds is all their “God” desires of them. Their hearts are empty because they worship images and ideas, and even my creation. Most heinous of all, they claim to do it in my name.
