Beside You

Text Box: Dear Servant,

Where am I? Have I abandoned you in your current crisis? Do you remember when you were a child and your brother fell in that hole of deep, muddy water? It was I who held him up and steadied your hand so you could pull him from the water. Do you remember when you thought the world had come to an end for you? You thought taking your own life would solve all your problems? I promised you if you would give your life to me I would make something of it? Have I failed to do that? Do you remember when you had no money to get married, how I provided everything and with first class service as well? Remember when you moved to go to school for me with no job, no house, and no acceptance letter from the school? Did I deny you any of those? Do you remember when you thought you must drop out of school because you had no money to pay tuition? Did I provide or not? Do you remember when you had no food in the house, no diapers for your son, and no money to provide with? Did I not provide on that very day all you needed? What about when you were fired and forced to move from your home? Did I not bless you with a better job, better house and more money than ever before? Have I ever failed to be there for you?

My child, I am your father. I feel every hurt and pain and I know the extent of all you’re suffering. Will I not be there for you in all of it? At the least I will comfort you and bear you up in my righteous right hand. Many times, as you remember, I have done so much more.

Beside you yesterday and today, I AM
